Edmund L. Gaines

Edmund ("Eddie") L. Gaines is a native of Cumberland County, North Carolina, and received a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina in 1968. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1971. He has practiced law in Iredell County and the surrounding areas since 1971.

His main practice areas include: litigation, personal injury, family and domestic law, contracts and serious criminal offenses. Also, Mr. Gaines serves as the City Attorney for Statesville.

Eddie is an AV rated lawyer by the Martindale Hubbell Legal Directory. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Iredell County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, formerly the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Eddie resides in Troutman, North Carolina with his wife of over 40 years.
